Terra Nova Luggage Tag

Hey there Craft Smith Crafters!

Did you have a great weekend? Hopefully so! I got to get some crafting in on Sunday, that is always a peaceful day in our house and it's probably my favorite time to be in my craft room. I am curious when you find time to get your crafting done? Weekdays? Weekends? In between everything else you have going on? It is so important to get a little "me" time in here and there, my crafting time is definitely my quiet time.

Have you seen the Craft Smith Terra Nova paper pad at Michaels? It's located on the paper aisle and is one of our newest lines in the store. It is so beautiful and totally different for us at Craft Smith. The colors are rich, the designs are unique and the textures are awesome!

I had some wood tags left over from a previous project and I thought this paper would make super cute luggage tags. If you don't have the wood tags, you could glue chipboard or cardboard on top of each other until you get a nice thick piece and that would work great too.

I love this photo because you can really see the texture of the Terra Nova paper. The texture is so pretty and I love that the paper has a white core so you can easily sand it to show even more detail. I used the alphabet turquoise paper for the background and hand cut the red heart. Rub ons, washi tape, buttons and twine is all it takes to make it perfectly embellished.  The back side just has light colored cardstock on it so you can hand write you address or even glue down a business card if you have one. Super simple with some ribbon to tie on to the luggage.

I love this project and think it would make a super sweet gift for someone who is going on a special vacation or trip. Couldn't get any more heartfelt than this.

Thanks for stopping by the blog and we will see you back here on Thursday with an Indigo Gold project!
