Back To School 2015

TGIF, my Craft Smith Crafters!

It's rare for me to be blogging on Friday but yesterday was a big deal and I wanted to share some photos with you! The boys went back to to 3rd & 5th grades. And guess what, the boys were HORRIBLE on Wednesday which made me shipping them off on Thursday much easier than I thought it would be! Funny how that happens. ;)

The perfect Craft Smith paper for today's project is the new School paper pad. It. Is. So. Cute. I love school paper, I am always needing it for school projects and teacher gifts. This one is definitely one to pick up. Some of my favorite prints are the US Map page in the front and the yellow ruler page! This one is at Michaels right now as one of the new Hot Buys. {If you are trying to hunt down these new Hot Buys, make sure you check the aisles of the entire store! Sometimes they end up in weird spots not necessarily near the paper crafting section!}

I was so excited to use the new school papers for my "Back to School" layouts for the boy's books. Didn't it turn out so cute!? Love those apples! This paper pad really is full of fun bits and pieces for your pages. The page came together really easily with the fun background paper. I just kept pulling out all the pages I wanted to use, there was quite the stack. :)

I used quite a few of the patterned papers so I made sure to mat my photos on white cardstock before gluing them down. To me, this makes sure that the photos will remain the main focus of the page, which is what we all want!

It's amazing what I am getting accomplished with a quiet house again. I'm not really surprised. My days fly by and my hours are full of emails, crafting, writing and photos. I am blessed to be able to do what I love for Craft Smith! Get ready for lots of fun things this that we are done with "Back to School", who is ready for HALLOWEEN!??!

Have a wonderful weekend!!!
