Is anyone else obsessed with washi tape? With all of the new designs out at Michaels stores right now, our collection has grown... large. So we're getting creative about ways to use it (although sometimes it's hard to take it off the spool - it's just so pretty!) Fortunately, we're on a spring cleaning kick, and there are endless ways to use washi tape, and this post will illustrate a few ways to do some organizing with the help of WASHI!
All of our desks at the office are white, and I like to change things up sometimes. By wrapping washi around this drawer, everyone knows that this is where I keep my washi rolls!
But the drawer contents need organizing as well. First I lined the bottom of the drawer with a woodgrain washi tape. Then measured the width and height of the drawer and cut out cardboard dividers. Then, using the latest washi tape from the Recollections Boho line, I turned the cardboard dividers into these fun drawer organizers. Super simple, and a great use for washi tape.
Because washi is so easily moved around and written on, I decided to use it to make labels for my file folders. Look how cute it looks on this green file folder!
And a simple painted pail is transferred with a strip of washi - "utencils" - for pencils and utensils!
Washi tape would also be ideal for organizing at home and in other rooms - I'm imagining cute spice jars, or even vases. Tell us your ideas for organizing with washi down in the comments below!
