What's going on, Craft Smith Crafters?!
As promised, I have a fun Halloween project for you today! When I went into Michael's last week to see the new Halloween Recollections products, I also spotted a Marquee Light Kit and knew that it would be the perfect project combined with the Recollections Midnight Magic paper pad. I love the classic, spooky vibe of this paper pad and the gold foil really takes it up a notch. How cool are all those skulls!?
This was my first time working with a marquee light product like this. The process was fun and relatively easy...make sure you have an Xacto knife and a some time to make the detailed cuts. The instructions were good and overall, I would rate this a medium skill level project. I love how it turned out with the Recollections paper! I used a fun gold foil spiderweb print for my background. I cut two strips of 2x12 paper to wrap around the outside and used washi tape for the inside edge.
I love the "Trick or Treat" embellishment in the corner. The paper clip and sticker both came from the matching Recollections Midnight Magic embellishment line.
I think it all came together well and it was such a fun project to make! This Marquee goes so well with the cute Recollections paper and embellishments. I think it's a magical duo!
Let us know what you think of this project here on the comments! And don't forget to find all of these project supplies at your Michaels Store.
Have a fabulous weekend and I'll see you next week!
