Pretty Little Planner: September

Hello September.

September in Utah is one of the best parts of living in this state. The air turns crisp and the leaves in our mountains begin to change. I can't say that we bring out our hoodies...because when you live in Utah you use a hoodie at night year round! When the seasons change, I always feel a sense of new beginnings. I am excited for FALL and to be productive in my work and recommit to being a present mom and wife. Who needs "New Year" resolutions, I like the idea of "New Season" resolutions. ;)

A new month means a new chapter in my "Pretty Little Planner". I have really come to love this feature on our Craft Smith Blog and I hope you do too. We have really been embraced by the Planner World on Instagram so it's great to see all of the possibilities that you can do with our paper. So fun!

September HAD to be about "Back to School" using the Craft Smith School Paper Pad. I mean, is there really any question!?

How cute is my September tab page?? The School paper pad had all kinds of fun things to cut out and use on my planner this month. I love the "My Favorite Subject Is" line....and yes, September is our favorite! With these darling papers, you really don't have to add too many embellishments. I added some washi tape, epoxy circle stickers and twine and really let the paper be the main focus.

I had to include the cute yellow ruler on the bottom of my "Week at a Glance" page. Isn't that a given when we talk about school?? Stickers, punch outs from the Craft Smith School paper and handwriting finish off the page. Not too much going on this week which is nice. The kids have settled in to school and a new routine. Happy Mama!

Yes. I had to add what was for dinner last night because it's a BIG deal when I make these enchiladas! They are my husbands all time fav and I can't wait to heat them up as leftovers! The recipe can be found HERE. We have been making these for at least 7 years!
