Craft Smith Fire "Crackers"

Hey there! Thanks for coming by the Craft Smith Blog today. It's such a busy time of year for everyone. We have 2 holidays here in Utah this month, the 4th of July and the Utah State Holiday the 24th of July. I have lots of things planned this month so you may only see the blog getting updated about once a week from me. But don't worry, August everything will be back to normal and we will have BRAND NEW Craft Smith Paper Pads out at Michaels. So you definitely have that to look forward to.

I have a fun 4th of July project for you today since the fun holiday is this weekend. We will be camping in the Utah mountains this weekend for a family reunion and I wanted to bring some fun decorations to decorate our camp site. I purchased some inexpensive things at the dollar store to hang from the trees but I still wanted something handmade there. I love what I came up with. I used the Craft Smith Pinks & Reds Cardstock paper pad and the Peppy Preppy pad as well. Together they had the perfect reds and blues for the 4th of July!

I purchased 3 containers of Pringles and wrapped them with the Craft Smith papers. I tied some ribbon around them and cut out a circle to cover the top of the containers. I found these fun 4th of July picks at Michaels on major sale for around $1.

I used my Crop-a-dile to punch a hole in the lid and then stuck the pick through the hole. To secure the pick, I stuck a little glue dot underneath so when you press down on the lid it sticks.

I think these are so fun and festive. The kids will love sneaking some crackers out of the Fire "Crackers"!

I hope you all have a wonderful and SAFE 4th of July this weekend! I would love to see what you are up to, tag us in your Facebook & Instagram photos with the #craftsmithco hashtag.

See you soon! ;)
