I have a fun little blog post for you today, with lots of eye candy!
Yesterday we had a little Baby Luncheon for our sweet co-worker and friend, Angela. Angela is a graphic designer at Craft Smith and expecting her very first baby! A little boy named Dylan James will be joining her family within the next couple of weeks. They have waited a long time for his arrival which makes it extra special!
How cute is she with that tiny, little belly! I was a whale when I was pregnant with my boys so I am always so jealous of the cute mamas with the cute little bellys.
We had the luncheon at a restaurant near our office called, "La Jolla Groves" which was the perfect spot for a special meal. Very girly indeed. Knowing the colors of the restaurant were green and yellow, I tried to pick some colors that would compliment that well. The turquoise and silver was the perfect choice.
I made this itty bitty banner using the Craft Smith Textured Basics paper pad and some silver sheets leftover from my Holiday Elegance pad.
Here's the Craft Smith Gang! Well the Utah office at least. (Our California office has just moved into a renovated, historic building and I can't wait to show you photos soon!) Love these ladies!
Is there anything better than good food and good conversation with friends? Angela will soon realize how precious these moments are once Dylan arrives! ;)
By the end of lunch we were chanting "Gifts. Gifts. Gifts." This is always my favorite part! Angela wore an impromptu "mommy sash" from one of her presents. Jenn used tissue paper and her sewing machine to make this amazing flower band. So So cute!
I used some kraft filler paper from one of my many amazon.com deliveries to wrap my present. Silver sparkly ribbon, bakers twine and a handmade bow with the Textured Basics paper finished it off perfectly.
I think we can all agree it was a perfect Baby Luncheon. Maybe I think it was perfect because there were no shower games...does anyone really like those games anyway!?
Congratulations, Angela!!! We can't wait for Baby Dylan to arrive and for you to enjoy your maternity leave. Enjoy every second!
