Today I woke up with the URGE to create. This is not an abnormal feeling for me. Most days I wake up knowing that I will make something that day. And that's a feeling that I love! If you are a crafter, you may agree with me.
I have had a special photo sitting on my office desk for several months and I planned on finding a home for that photo on a page...that will go in a book...to remember a fun, special day. That is what I love about scrapbooking. YUP. I am still a scrapbooker, hand cutting and crafting page by page. Next week I am going to dig more into my system of how I scrapbook in a way that DOES NOT OVERWHELM me. Do you believe me?? Watch and learn. ;) Next week, promise!
***Sidetrack*** I love this picture of the layout I am trying to photograph and my daytime BFF, Foxy. She sleeps all day, following me from my craft room to my office and everywhere in between. Boy do I love this girl! She is quite the princess if you can't tell! :)
This is probably what you were looking for! I love this sweet layout using the Craft Smith Typecraft Paper Pad. This has been a popular one with the bright colors printed on Kraft paper. I wondered what these kraft prints would look like with a white cardstock background. This is what I got!
This photo was from our first day on the slopes as a family. When I saw a professional photographer from the ski resort standing on the side of the hill, I knew I had to drag the boys over for a photo opportunity! They were THRILLED! Not really, lol. But after they see this layout they will be so glad they stopped and let me get my way. ;)
I love the bright colors from the snowboards against the patterned paper. It just seems to work. The doodling on the bottom of the page was totally an after thought and I wondered if it was a mistake! But adding the white star sequins and embellishments helped pull it all together.
This paper pad at Michaels was such a huge seller for Craft Smith! Did you hear that we have over a DOZEN new "Hot Buy" paper pads that will hit Michaels Stores this weekend! Stop by and see them in person, you will LOVE them!
Lots of fun stuff coming your way VERY soon. Stay tuned! ;)
