Flutterbloom Bunny Tracks Frame

Easter is a little over a week away and it's the perfect time to share some Springy inspiration. Yesterday I was driving around with my sun roof down yesterday sipping on a nice, cold Diet Coke. (The boys are on Spring Break this week so my taxi service skills have been used all day instead of just after school!) But while I was driving with the sun shining down, I couldn't help but think what a gorgeous, happy time of year this is.

Some of our newest Craft Smith paper pads are perfect to craft with for Spring! Here are two of my favorites...

First of all, Dip Dyed is an awesome ombre cardstock pad and the textures that is shows are unlike anything else! I love the mix of colors and the color palette is perfect for Spring. It blends perfectly with the Flutterbloom pad. I love the vibrant spring colors and even though this has a butterfly theme, there are still plenty of great patterns to mix in with any project.

I love how my Bunny Tracks Frame turned out that I made using these two paper pads. It looks so so darling sitting on my entry table with my Spring decorations. First, I picked out my 9 favorite prints from the Flutterbloom paper pad. I cut a 3 inch by 4 inch rectangle of all of them and lined them up on my Silhouette cutting pad.

I used my Silhouette to cut the bunnies out, super simple! (Shape is called: Bunny Back by Pebbles Inc.)

Then I lightly inked the edges of the bunnys so there would be a little more dimension when I adhered them. I cut the turquoise paper from the Dip Dyed pad down to an 8x10 and framed it (with the glass behind the paper). Using 3D glue dots, I glued the bunnies down. I only had a Walmart near by and they didn't have the right size white pom poms so I improvised by rolling little pieces of cotton ball up and hot gluing them to the bunnies. Us crafters have to improvise once in a while. ;)

I think this project would be super cute with a white background and cut all the bunnies out of the Dip Dyed paper too! Really, you could do any combination but I think these Flutterbloom papers are perfect.

I am taking the rest of the week off for a little Spring Break adventure with the boys! Family first, right??! Have a wonderful rest of your week and weekend and I'll see you back here on Monday!
