A Craft Smith Valentine

Hey there!

How was your weekend? Wonderful I hope! Being married to a banker definitely has it's perks when it comes to getting bank holidays off. ;) We had some good family time yesterday bowling with family and playing at our family farm. We have been having some great weather here in Utah and we are enjoying every minute of it!

I did find some time over the long weekend to get into my craft room. My craft room is the place that I sneak off to if I have an extra hour here or there to spare. And I love that my kids constantly see me in there. I think it inspires them to create too!

I am all about making homemade Valentines this year and I have already started! I love how my first one turned out and my Craft Smith goodies totally steal the show.

I found the chunky black and white stripe paper in the Craft Smith Natural Luxury Pad. This is a pack of paper that I plan on using every single piece of! I love the combination of black, white, pink and red. Very classy and traditional.

I was so excited to break into my new Craft Smith tags for this project. Have you seen these at Michaels yet? The metal heart in the center of the card just gives it a really cool look. I added some ribbon, text sticker and epoxy circle stickers to finish it off.

There is an entire collection of these tags in different shapes and materials. {Video coming soon!} Chalkboard wood tags, metal hearts, canvas stars just to name a few. Make sure to check them out! These are staples and I think I will be using them on projects for a long time. I love picking up staple pieces like this for my craft collection.

And here is one more look at that fabulous paper pad that I used. I can't imagine a more beautiful and classic collection of papers! Way to go, Craft Smith! ;)

I hope you liked my Valentine and are inspired to hand make your special card this year! I will have some more ideas coming so stay tuned.

Have a great day!
