TGIF! The weekend is here! And if you are married to a banker like I am, it's a 3 day weekend ;)
Before I started my fun three days full of basketball, birthday parties and family, I wanted to share a page that I just created with one of my favorite paper lines.
When I first picked up the Craft Smith Charming Charlotte at Michaels, I fell in love with the colors! They were so happy and I loved the grey and light blue combined with the aqua. While most of you may consider this a feminine line with the florals, I wanted to challenge myself to use these prints to make a page of one of my boys.
On Sunday, I took this photo of my BABY...yes my baby it's a horrible thing he's getting so big! :( When I noticed his striped tie I knew this was the photo for this pad! I didn't have more than the one photo so I had to be a little creative with the layout. I made a geometric pattern with some paper scraps and used it as the focal point of the page.
I love how the page turned out. I used some gold embellishment stickers and a few little knick knacks I had laying around my craft table. I had to add lots of journaling to describe how I am feeling as my baby is turning 8!
I hope you all get a little craft time in this weekend, I am definitely planning on it. I have some Valentine ideas floating in my head that I need to get down on paper! ;)
Have a great weekend! See you back here on Tuesday!
