Hello there! The week of Christmas is finally here! Ask any of my friends...or my husband. I am a planner! It is normal for me to have my shopping done, gifts wrapped, cards in the mail all done on the first week of December. That way I can really enjoy this magical season. This week of Christmas, I really have nothing that NEEDS to be done! I love it. I will fill the days spending time with the boys, making crafts with them, baking a little, Christmas movies and of course, a little work. But Craft Smith work is fun work, I don't mind! ;)
We have loved the response we have received from our Christmas Giveaway! Thank you to all of you who have entered...and especially those who have shared it on your Facebook pages! It is a slow and steady process of getting our name out into the craft world and your help has been significant. Thank you! The giveaway will end tomorrow night at 11:59pm and I will post a winner on Wednesday!
I had to brag it up a little about my boys. I used THIS RECIPE for "Better Than Salt Dough Clay" and had the boys make their handprints. Those little hands are getting pretty big! ;) We baked them as the recipe states, glued some felt to the back, and let the boys paint them. I love how they turned out! I love that these boys aren't "too cool" to craft with their Mama. They tell me all the time that I am the Queen of Crafts, Ha! I will share some more of our Christmas Break crafty fun over the next week. They go back to school on January 5th so it's nice to have a little time out.
I wanted to share a quick and easy idea for some gift tags. Because I would guess that a few of you still have a little wrapping to do! I love how simple and cute these are. All I did was use the Craft Smith Homemade Holiday Paper Pad and cut a simple tag shape. I used the fun Kraft papers from pad, love those! You could make them whatever size you want. I used a snowflake punch to punch out the shape, added some teeny tiny pearl epoxy stickers to the corners and that's it. I tried to find a link to my EK Success punch but it must be retired. I'm sure Michaels has some so check there!
When I said simple, I meant simple! I love using the negative space of punches like this. I have one last Craft Smith Christmas pad to show off on Wednesday...the super cool Holiday Glassine Pad. So stop by on Wednesday to see that and to also see if you are our giveaway winner! Remember to share, share, share! We need your help getting the word out about how awesome Craft Smith is! ;)
