Well, it's getting closer. Just a few more days until Christmas!
5 1/2 to be exact. In case you didn't realize it was that close! I'm sure most of you are done with shopping, are on to wrapping and making some special Christmas cards. I love to incorporate my crafting into my gift wrapping, and I'm sure some of you do too!
I always love to give the boys one gift to open on Christmas Eve. It's usually pajamas or slippers but I don't think they really care what the present is! They are just so happy that the festivities have almost arrived. I used the Craft Smith Timeless Holiday Pad to embellish some super simple kraft bags that I picked up at the local dollar store.
First, I made a belly band with the green and red papers from the pad. For the star, I found a super cheap pack of 10 plastic glitter stars at the dollar store and cut some paper to cover up most of the star. I just wanted to see a little gold glitter edge around my music note paper. I added my FAVORITE little Santa that I cut from the paper along with the "24" & "Christmas". I finished with some small alphabet stickers for the "merry" and "eve". I attached the start to the bag with some red twine and that's it! So, so simple and I love it. I think the boys will too. :)
And now for the most exciting part of this blog post...we are doing our first GIVEAWAY here at Craft Smith! Kind of a big deal, right??! We have a big box of Craft Smith Christmas goodies that we want to send to one of our fans. Since we are a brand new company, we really need your help in spreading the word about our company, products, blog and social media sites! We are holding the contest on Rafflecopter.
