Dress your school days

We've all been busy getting all of our kids ready for the first day of school! How exciting! Now that they're all set with their teachers, classmates and supply lists, it's time we start thinking of some more ways to dress our school supplies and get crafty!

We covered school notebooks, textbooks and journals with pages from our Sunny Dreams paper pad and used the large, black and gold washi tube, found at Michaels stores, to seal the edges. We also made our own matching pencils pouches!

and pencil wraps!

We personalized our pencils and wrapped them in the black and gold washi tape. (Hopefully now, you don't have to worry about other kids stealing them or getting your supplies mixed up with other kids'.)

One of my favorite things we made for back to school was this Boho Tropical supply box! (because it's still one of my favorite pads) We used both the matching paper pad and washi tape to assemble this cute box that will fit right in your desk and keep your pens, pencils, highlighters and utencils all organized :)

Hope these inspire you to dress up your supplies for this following year! Good luck to all students! :)

Planner Spread of the Week

Hi everyone! I wanted to share last week's planner spread with you. I'm using my mint Recollections planner with matching accessories/stickers. I love how pretty it looked 'before the ink' with just the stickers. I love the mix of summery colors and gold, and was so excited to fill it in. Next week I'm going to get into using more washi tape!

Here it is filled in -  it's so satisfying to see everything written down, and it was a fun-filled week!

We would love to see all of your guys week spreads too! Please share! Tag us on FB or on instagram @craftsmithco

Craft Smith giveaway review!

Hello All!

I wanted to share this Video from Maria who won our giveaway back in June. She made this awesome video of her reviewing her gifts and thought it was so neat of her to do this so wanted to share with all of you! (Review starts around 2:40)

Enjoy!

Back to School Basics!

Back to school - it's that time of year! Instead of spending tons of money on school supplies this year,  we tried to come up with new and innovative ways to craft some of our supplies instead! SO, we made these cute bookmarks using Craft Smith's new Emoji collection! They are SO much fun and so cute, they make us smile just looking at them! We thought they would be the perfect way to brighten up ordinary school days! This collection is a great accessory to all your school necessities! :)

These were so fun and easy to make! I simply placed the Craft Smith Emoji washi tape onto card stock in any order I thought looked cute. Then, glued the diecut emoji "frosting" to the top of the bookmark and laminated them with our easy-to-use thermal laminator.

Below pictures 1-5 show step-by-step instructions. The last picture shows you what to look for in Michaels Stores!

LOOK HOW FUN AND CUTE THESE ARE! These will be sure to make all your classmates jealous!

Use them in your Creative Year planners, text books or reading books!
